Hi, my name's Lauren. I'm 17 years old and I live in Victoria, Australia.
At the start of this year I kind of attempted to start this challenge, however rather than doing any form of preperation I thought "Hey I'm gonna start achieving 101 things right now" without even knowing what those things were.
Now I'm taking a better approach and planning ahead. 2010 is going to be a year of change for me as I will be moving to Melbourne to go to university and I've always thought a new city was great motivation to start doing new things. For that reason I will be starting my first (real) attempt to achieve 101 Things in 1001 Days in roughly 9 hours, on January the 1st, 2010 (as will the rest of you here obviously).
I haven't finished my list yet. Actually, I only have about 62 things but I don't feel any pressure to have 101 by January 1. In fact, I find it kind of comforting to know that there's another 39 spaces which I can fill over the next two and a bit years as my priorities and such change.
The goals I do have though, are very varied. Some a big things that I really want to do (such s travel), some are attempts at self-improvement and others are just things that I need to do (ie. cleaning my room).
Anyway, the list so far can be found
here.
