Saturday...
Well, we have a showing at the house, so I wanted to go up, mow the lawn and do a spring clean up. however, it's too damn cold for me. I'd do nothing but complain. So Syd and I stayed home to do laundry and stuff here. Tim took Jordan with him so Jordan could go play with his buddies from the old hood.
My dad is obviously still in the hospital/rehab center. the place is horrible. THREE days ago I noticed his urine didn't look 'right'. I kept questoniong it and I got "It's ok". I kept saying how cloudy it looked and how there wasn't 'enough'. I kept getting "it;'s ok".
Well guess what. IT WASNT!!! Yesterday when I got there, there was no urine in his bag, and in the tube was about 5 inches of cloudy brown urine.
I asked my brother if they had emptied it while he was there. (He got there 90 min's before I did). He said NO. SO I called the nurse and told her to give my father IV fluids, that he is dehydrated, and there is no urine. Guess what I got "He's OK". I said NO HE ISNT!! So they flushed out the catheter. Hour later, noithing more in his bag. Well eventually, after I left for work, and an argument, they gavehim IV Fluids. When I got there last night, there was 'some' urine. But he had peed while i was there and it was PAINFUL. So I call in the nurse again who flushed out the catheter again, and then, said "It's FINE". I told her nicely "I have had enough if 'its fine' when it isn't. Somethig is wrong., FIXX IT"
So when I gotready to leave last night at 9:45 PM, they were taking blood to see if his kidneys are OK. I just called and i guess now that he's had fluids, he's starting to urinate, but OMFG, it took DAYS to get this!! I'm not a fucking nurse, and I spotted this LONG AGO, and its just getting taken care of. 24 HURS of fluids and he is just starting to pee. and its not alot, but its yello and clearer now. GRRRRRRRRR..... /end rant
Well, I have to get into the shower and go see dad before I have to get back here to do more stuff (laundry and shit)
