Work's been just that - work. Linda's on a power trip and I cannot wait until the day where I can either watch Ashley take her job (which she told her she planned to do yesterday) or just tell her to piss off because I can't stand her. Then again, I'll be the bigger person in the situation because I need to grow up like that and just say forget it and despise her quietly. Adrienne got a transfer and her first "offical" day is tomorrow. Don't know how that's gonna go with Steve and whatnot but let's hope everything's okay. Went for an interview at National City yesterday - hopefully I get that job. It'd be awesome. They seemed like they liked me so cross your fingers!! Next traning session starts on my birthday - what a kick ass present that would be.
Going to the My Chemical Romance concert with my little sister tonight. My Dad wasn't gonna let her go then I said I'd take her so now it's okay. It's at Eastern and hopefully it's not a bunch of little douche bags -- but with my luck, it will be. She should have fun - it's her first concert. Couldn't be as cool as MY concerts ;) But that's just because they've been Eminem. Oh - and Backstreet Boys. I woulda gone to theirs in August, but I would have had no one to go with me. :(
Somebody pissed me off the other day because we were watching Save The Last Dance and I mentioned how Sean Patrick Thomas and Julia Stiles make a cute couple in the movie and their response? "How are they cute, he's a nigger." I've used the word and all - but theres a difference between black people and niggers. I swear there is. White people, purple people, green people, people with polka dots, etc. -- they can all be niggers. All a nigger is is an ingnorant person. So they're rambling on and on about how he's one and the other guy in the movie is and blah blah blah, and I said "I hate to see what you say about Kiara behind our backs." And the response? "Well she's half nigger." What the fuck. If there's anything you don't do it's talk about my family and friends -- and most of my close friends are like family - so we'll narrow it down to that. Don't talk about them like that -- and that baby is more family to me and Ash than you'll ever know. A neice, a daughter, whatever -- it doesn't take blood to make family. I hope somewhere in their head/heart they realize that that baby is not and never will be a nigger. She might be half black, but in no way shape or form is she a nigger.
I feel better now that that's out. Hmm.. As for the rest of the job search? I got called for another interview on Tuesday. Not sure which company it's for because I've applied for so many - but I hope I get something because then, I don't have to take my ass to these job fairs on this Thursday and next Thursday.
Went and worked from like 530-1015 last night at Woodhaven. Had to go to Dearborn after my interview @ the bank and get bags, take 'em to Taylor, then I was just gonna go to WH to visit but Adrienne didn't want to stay for whatever reason so I did. Played with the bird and talked w/ Jordan and Ryan and whatnot. Even Brittany - their ditzy cashier - thinks that Brandon and Adrienne are dating. ::Laughs:: Wouldn't that be some shit.
My birthday is in 16 days? I can't wait. I want to go to Canada and go to the club or the casino or something -- and drink legally. Told Steve he should go with us. ::Shrugs:: Don't know if that would go over well or not but I think it'd be fun. He seems like he'd be fun to hang out with - he just doesn't want to hang out with me. :( Heh. Oh well - what can ya do? He'll be my work buddy and thats it. Then I'll quit and I'll probably still see/talk to Ryan more than Steve. Sad sad world we live in isn't it?
2:15pm and I have nothing to do. I should go sleep for a few - but that'd just be wasting my day. Then again, I haven't gotten to sleep past about 10:30 in forever, so catching up on a few hours wouldn't be a bad idea.
