Tommi and I somehow got into talking about doing a rewatch of Battlestar Galactica and to make things even more diffifult we are going to attempt to make three icons for every single episode we watch!
In this post we'll discuss/talk about the episodes we watched and there'll be regular updates for the icons we make too!

MINI SERIES
5.3. & 8.3.

Oh, I forgot to ask your thoughts on this - do we make 3 or 6 icons of the mini series? I watched approximately half of it yesterday but am unsure if I should icon it now or wait until Friday :)
It was pretty intense, and I had forgotten how awesome Kara was, love her dialogue ♥

I'd say that we make 6 icons for the mini-series? because it's so long and so much is happening and all :)
I only watched about 45 mins of it last night because i got so bloody damn tired but OMG *__*

All the feels when Gaeta goes to Adama when he first steps on the bridge and just andjsfndfnsnkl my poor bb!

I love how young they all look. And so sweet and innocent!
Kara is truly awesome! She doesn't take your shit! Ha!

Also what I always loved about the beginning is the way it was filmed. You move through the ship with one character then this character meets another one and now you're following them! It's amazing!

Works for me! I'll make the first three tonight then so I won't have to make 6 at once - I watched about halfway, and would have really wanted to just continue watching cause it was so captivating :) too bad I started watching so late, so the same thing happened to me, had to go to sleep at some point :p

Oh I love the way it was filmed too :) and how we already get glimpses of most of the main characters.
How am I going to pick favorite scenes or characters though, sooo many great things to choose from D:

This episode is one of my favourites (of all the many absolutely fantastic episodes there are in general) because I just love how it opened the season and how well acted it was too!
I also loved how it ended on such a positive note: Laura'S smiling and you can't help but smile too because you know that although they seemingly lost everything and are still loosing people there's a tiny little bit of hope <3

I don't know yet who to pick for my favourite character this episode though.. I somehow love Saul this one though. Weird as it is because I didn't start really liking him until New Caprica.

For me this is a bit painful episode to watch tbh, cause everyone's exhaustion is so well acted and aurgh it almost makes me feel exhausted with them D: the end is awesome, gotta love a little hope in the middle of so much misery, haha.
I've almost made my icons for this and Water, so there will be some posted here soon :>

I especially love hte 2nd icon! It's wonderful in every aspect! ♥

I'm going to go all Boomer for this episode too most likely xD I just loved the scene in the Raptor where she is so visibly struggling to keep control and it's just a wonderfulk scene and everything asjfhskjjkvnd poor bb ♥

Also the close crop for the 3rd icon is spectacular! (I actually think it is Boomer and the male with her is Galen? bcause of the clothing)

Wow, just saw your fills too - gorgeous work, I adore the way you use shadows and contrast. Oh and must not forget the texture use, seriously spot on in all of them! Can't really pick favorites of those three, they're all equally awesome :D
