I rode into work today.
invisigoth51 was a silly bunny, and expected to find a taxi waiting in the taxi ranks on the triangle at 7am, so I carried her luggage to the bus station. This left the option of me catching my bus infeasible.
Luckily I had already planned to bike in, planning ahead for just this eventuality - praciticed again last night.
So I got to my bike at 8am, kickstart slammed back into my foot hard, jolting my bad ankle, causing me to scream out loud. Gritted teeth, kept trying, cursed at bike, and it started.
Somehow got stuck in neutral, couldn't change down into first.
Bike was otherwise well behaved. Even filtered a little through stationary traffic.
Arrived with 15 mins to spare.
Woot!
That's 1 hour less time spent travelling than when I take the bus. I'll be faster on the way home too.

Also, yesterday I filled her up. Petrol stations are scary. To fill my tank from 1/3 full cost me £4.51. In your face, car-drivers.
So I'm a happy bunny. Thankyou lots and lots kashinthegreen for sorting me out the other day. :)
