Vans Warped Tour was freaking amazing. If you weren't able to go this year, make it a priority to go next year.
I would write a long and detailed report about it, but being that it's 7 something in the morning and I went to bed four hours ago, I'm gonna pass. If you wanna know all the details, you'll have to ask me. Yes, ask me. And buy tickets next year.
I'll leave you with this. Anti-Flag were better than The Casualties, even though they're pretty similar bands. Thursday, well I need to listen to them more but they kicked ass. 30 Seconds To Mars was the most chilled out show I've ever experianced and Jared Leto is the hottest asshole I've ever seen up close. Rise Against is great for everything, and I mean EVERYTHING except moshing, unless of course you like visiting the perimedics for a guy stepping on your neck. Joan Jett was erm...I dunno it felt like she was a tad out of place. Billy Talent, umm, INCREDIBLE, what else could you expect from them (not to mention that Ben took his shirt off within seconds of entering the stage which kept me happy for the whole set) :).
I didn't get to see much more then that besides hearing a crappy Metallica cover by some Indie band. It was quite upsetting, and I didn't stay around to hear alot of it. I also got to chase Jared Leto and his other bandmate around Molson Park for a whole five minutes with my friend Lauren, but we lost them *tear
And...yea. Go next year. Seriously, it's well worth $45.
It's now 8 something in the morning and I'm dead. And tonight's the Social Code show, which means some serious moshing is going to take place. Wonderful.
...toodles.
