After my classes today I went to check my mail and found a Valentine's Day card that my mother had sent me. I expected it to contain some sentimental message that would just brighten my day. Instead the message read as follows:

To say that I was disappointed is a bit of an understatement. Anyway, I can understand a parent not understanding their child especially being at this stage in my life. I'm sure that by later this evening that lame ass card will be the last thing on my mind. It seems that tonight I will be going on my first official date.
