Wohoo.... I got second place again!
In the lj community, iy_themes, i received second place for my piece entered for the theme "Sin".
and once again i received this beautiful banner. it's really so sweet.

but i will be posting my first drabble, Breathing and this one up here anyways. =)

Hanyou..
You should just die. Just die!
Die Half-breed.
His body jolts on reflex, eyes widen to air out his teary orbs. He lets out a breath he had been holding in unconsciously, forcing himself to swallow in order to ease his dry throat. He looks everywhere, without moving his head, to study his surroundings. A tactic he learned early in life, in order to remain unseen from humans and demons alike. Any sudden movement in a dark forest night would be trouble for a tiny hanyou.
He begins to panic when he cannot see clearly through the blur, his lips forming a frightened pout.
He is scared.
He wants to cry and scream.
He tries to calm himself. He could hear breathing, soft against his ear. He inhales deeply and holds it; the surrounding scents were familiar and close, immediately putting that part of him to ease. The breathing becomes a source of comfort.
He exhales and inhales deeply again. Yet the sound of breathing is still present, as he holds his in.
He focuses on the sound, closing his eyes to feel where it is coming from. He rolls over onto his side, curling up closer to the familiar breaths, finding relief in them. He pushes his face forward, closer to the sound, and into warmth that eased the tears behind his weary eyes. Pushing further and further into the warmth, he stops when he could hear a steady heartbeat just under his ear. It is like a lullaby, lulling him into a slumber, the pout relaxing into a slight smile, his eyebrows raised in content.
His fingers grasp the warmth, holding tightly for fear it may disappear and the warmth surrounds him as if it was embracing him and he sinks into.
He whispers, “Kagome”.

Summary: Just a litte play at the famous seven deadly sins and how they relate to our favorite people.

Pride had just returned to camp, his eyes refusing to meet the others as he sat before the fire. Acting as he hadn’t done anything wrong, he reaches for one of the fish-kabobs before his hand is slapped away from it.
“You don’t deserve to eat.” Greed remarks, taking the last two fish-kabobs a good distance away from Pride. “Oi, what the hell?!”
Pride knew that reaction had everything to do with Envy, who laid ten paces away curled up in her sleeping bag. He could smell a slight hint of salt on her face. Pride raises his chin, storming off to the closest tree.
“If you don’t mind, I’ll take his share.” Glutton boldly rises; his belly shaking as he scampers close to Greed, who shakes his head profusely.
“Danna, he won’t share.”
“Don’t bring me into this; I have more important matters at hand.” Refusing to intervene, Lust focused his attention on the woman next to him.
Wrath scowled ever so slightly, “What, like my ass?”
Lust smiles briefly before Wrath swung with full force, shaking the entire campsite and awakening Sloth, who was resting against Wrath’s leg. Sloth slowly stands up and stretches before moving a few paces away to lie down once more with a yawn.
As Lust readjusts his jaw, he catches Pride crawling up to Envy quietly. A couple of words are exchanged before Envy coldly spits out, “Why don’t you just go back to her?!”
Pride cringes slightly before growling, “Look wench-“
“Osuwari!”
Please I encourage anyone who likes InuYasha and reading fanfiction, to check out this group and join. It isn't subjected to one pairing, it is basically anything and everything associated with InuYasha and you will find a variety of drabbles that are beyond amazing. I also encourage writers who like InuYasha to try your hand at it. =)
the current theme right now is "Plan".
i'll post my entry for that after that theme is complete.
