Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is in Montgomery this week, and they are filming a pep rally right on my campus this afternoon, which means that Ty is merely steps away. I'm kinda waiting for him to come running through my office with a megaphone.
My friend, Karen, wondered aloud at lunch how the film crew liked the severe weather last night -- apparently the tornadic winds were heading straight for the being-made-over home, there was golf ball-sized hail and torrential rain, and the tornado sirens went off at least 7 times between 5:30 and 11:00 p.m. Welcome to Alabama!
My crazy boss just went to check things out, but before she could go, though, she said, "Wait, I have to put my make-up on. Where's my chapstick?" She slathered her lips and off she went -- if you see a lot of long, curly red hair on TV, that's her.
