Wordiness

I'm looking at the paper I just wrote and am deciding whether I'll pretend that I don't notice the size of my margins is really, really small (3/4" at most). I was trying to be tricky and make all my work fit on exactly 5 pages, since that's the max, but I've not managed to convince myself that my professor won't notice my slick attempts at formatting. You know, people always tell me what they do to make a short paper seem longer but I never hear of a long paper needing to be shorter; am I the only verbose one around?

Oh screw it! I know nothing of formatting issues and, to the best of my knowledge, I've followed all paper guidelines. The first step in successful trickery is convincing yourself, folks. Live it, learn it, love it.
