Went to England with Dirt/Mandy this past winter break. We left right after spending Christmas with my family. All in all it was lovely. I got to see my whole family and watch in awe as my niece and nephew (actually his parents) opened up loads of gifts. In England we stopped in London for a night and saw the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Westminster and Big Bens (only going inside the Tower). It was great. Then we went to York and I stayed in hostel for the first time. We shopped and saw the York Minster. Then it was the end of all the touristy stuff as we saw Bonsai and some of her friends from Lak's sister camp (Northwoods) and stayed at their place. It has been a long time since I have gone clubbing and I enjoyed doing it this New Years. Next we saw Weebl in Birmingham and got to try on funky pointy police hats and then to Brighton for shopping and beach time and back to London to take a few more pictures before flying out. I loved it! I hope to travel again soon. Right now Mandy is spending some time with me before heading back to UWRF next week. We are going to a Catholic Conference this weekend on Social Justice Issues. Should be informative I hope. Ok, I will have to update this soon as I never do so because I am not much of a diary or journal person. Here's to a great last semester.
