So I am in Iowa now. Life is manageable now but will get hectic once practicum hours start. I think I will learn quite a bit from it though. Pretty much the whole MSW Foundation cohort is freaking out right along with me, so at least I am not alone. Being an RA is ok, but I feel to old to be living here and I don't necessary like the living/working enviornment and my boss is kind of a crab. I am definately getting a little homesick. I am glad I know someone here (Hammie) because she also introduced me to a lot of nice people. If it weren't for that, I would prolly be miserable. So, thanks Hammie. I went to Des Moines yesterday for a day trip to see someone that I worked at camp with (Bonsai). I think she felt bad because she didn't know the area well, but she had just moved there herself. I will not however let her drive my car ever again. But, life is fine. Slow going this weekend. Not many people here for Labor Day and this is quite a suitcase college too. Oh well. Lets me have "me-time" (and I mean that in the GS camp sense).
