Just a small HBP theory... oh, and delayed "Unfortunates" update...!

I just thought of something as I began to reread HBP today, and I felt like posting it here... (Yeah, spoilers ahead, for those who haven't read HBP...! Skip to the bottom of the entry for stuff about "The Unfortunates"... :)

I'm one of the many who believe that Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him, or at least was aware that he would have to in the end. Snape's on "our" side, I'm sure of it...
Anyway! I just read "Spinner's End" and something Snape said to Narcissa caught my eye: "He intends me to do it in the end, I think." No reason to think Snape's not telling the truth here, so at this point - early July or something - he already believes Voldemort will want him to kill Dumbledore in the end. And I just thought, of course he's informed Dumbledore of this!
So seeing as how Snape is the Order's spy, he must have told Dumbledore early on about Draco's task and that Snape believe he in the end would have to do it, and Dumbledore must have consented to it, and they probably planned things accordingly. Dumbledore knew Snape would most likely be destined to kill him, and perhaps he also planned that it would be the perfect opportunity to save Draco from becoming like his father, too. Does that make sense?

Not that big a thing, I know, but I just thought it would work as another evidence to prove Snape's loyalty... :)

Oh, and another thing! "The Unfortunates" has been updated twice since I last mentioned it here on LJ, so sorry about that! Here's links to the two new chapters, please forgive me...
