The calm after the storm
Well, now that the ball is over, things have gotten somewhat back to normal - as normal as things ever can be at Hogwarts, that is.
Classes are demanding, as per usual, but I'm really enjoying our current study of Ancient Egyptian spells in Ancient Runes - it's all just so fascinating! Of course, most of their magic had something to do with worshipping their gods and goddesses or painting kohl round one's eyes, but it's interesting nonetheless.
This weekend is a Hogsmeade weekend, which should be nice. I want to see if the bookshop has anything on Egyptian magic...
Ron and I had a lovely walk round the lake the other day. We even fed the giant squid some bread we took from lunch. Perhaps...
