Today we are going to Chicago, IL so get Asim's French visa. I originally was trying to get today off as I am working 6 days this week all closing which is horrible. So my next plan was to have Asim go by himself, which is again horrible :) and stay the night at my dad's house cuz I refuse to stay at that apartment alone cuz that again would be horrible :). So Asim said that we should leave at 10pm tonight and I should go with him. At first I refused because then we would have to drive all night to Chicago, get there at 5am for his 10am appointment at the French Consulate and I thought that was unfair to him. To make a short story shorter I'm going with him in the end and leaving after I close at work. I always love going to Chicago cuz the first time I ever went was with him and that's where he proposed so it makes it a sentilmental city. While in Chicago, I have to get my bridesmaid dress for my aunt's wedding which will be on the 22nd of this month.
Speaking of my aunt Bunny, she's getting married to the guy that she had her second child with. When I was a kid I knew him as my uncle, I knew a lot of people as my uncles since I was a child and didn't know any difference. They were never really together but I guess recently they decided to get married. So I'm a bridesmaid and Asim is my groomsmen, he's gonna look totally cute in his tux like our wedding day.
Also, on the 23rd, Asim and I will be going to Pakistan to visit his family. So that means we will have to start driving back from Chicago right after my aunts wedding so we can catch our flight. I'm very excited about it since the farthest I've ever been outside the country has been the Carribean. We'll be going from Minneapolis to Cincinatti to Paris, France to Dubai, United Emerates to Karachi, Pakistan. So I'm going to be a very tired girl after all that traveling. Then we'll come back I think August 9th. I'm hoping I'll be able to post about my trip while I'm there and take lots of pictures :)
I'm totally feeling tired, probably cuz I know we have a long drive ahead of us tonight...figures :)
