(no subject)
I went for my 2 week check-up today... baby is doing great but is lying very low and is in position to put me at risk of delivering... I am already effaced and dilated 1 cm... needlesss to say, the doctor says I probably won't make it to my due date. To top it all off, the doctor has taken me out of work for the next 12 weeks. I'm bummed b/c maternity leave is for 12 weeks max, I was planning to work until delivery and have 12 weeks off after the baby is born but now I will have 6 weeks off before and 6 weeks off after the baby is born. I know it's better to have only 6 weeks after the baby than to have the baby delivered 6 weeks early so I should be counting my blessings right now.
