So, Kera, my roommate, keeps telling me to keep a livejounal and actually write in it. So that's what I'm going to do. Oh, gosh.
Okay, so over the past few weeks, I have come to many realizations. I am usually a private person, and I realized that alot of people don't really know alot about me. So my first entry in my journal shall be facts about Savannah. (interesting ones, I hope) I don't want to sound like I'm in love with myself, I'm just letting people in on a few of Savannah's secrets. (A few) Okay. Here it goes...
1. I have a fascination with nuns. I can't help it. It's such a different (and extremely disciplined)lifestyle. In fact, I wanted to be a nun for awhile and even started learning the prayers and rules and stuff until I saw the movie "A Nun's Story" with Audrey Hepburn. Yikes! Change of plans.
2. There are currently three men that I am totally and completely in love with. And two out of three of them are homosexual. They are:
Isaac Mizrahi- He has the coolest talk show on the style network. I started watching expecting a flaming weirdo tell me my fashion sense was horrible. Instead, I found this man to be positive and bubbly and so much fun. His style is so classy and happy. I don't care if his clothes come from Target, they are cute and I like to wear them. My room is decorated in his home line of products. I feel that he understands me and my style. He makes me feel like a natural woman.
Elton John- Words cannot describe my recent obsession. I mean, who really cares, right? An old man who had a few hits in the 70's and probably has more glitter, sequins and funky glasses than you see at a Mardi Gras parade. But I love him. I do. All of his songs are catchy, you can dance to them, and they make me feel happy to be alive. Yes, I like corny songs. I do not care what anyone thinks. Sometimes you just need to listen to a happy standby. And I like his flamboyant style. Who else could pull that off? You can tell he enjoys life and is happy to be himself.
Arthur Miller- He is a beautiful writer, and my personal favorite playwright. And any man who really loves Marilyn for her mind is wonderful.
3. I suggest trying a Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich someday. It may surprise you.
4. So far, I've been told that I look like: Reese Witherspoon, Meg Ryan, Jenny Mcarthy, Kim Basinger, Marilyn, Heather Graham, and pretty much everyone else with blonde hair and blue eyes. All I have to say is, make up your mind, people!
5. I like sunshines, they are happy and cute. I have some in my room and bathroom. And I like when people call me sunshine. Yeah.
6. I have coined a term that I think more people should adopt in their everyday lives. You know when something (a movie, play, or song) is so moving, you don't know whether to laugh or cry? Like when something is so sweet, but kind of sad, and make you go "Oh, mama!" I always say "That touched my apex!" The apex is the tip of your heart. So, when you are watching a movie like Titanic when she drops the necklace back in the ocean, or ET when the flowers and ET come back to life, or The Lion King when Simba's new cub is being held over Pride Rock just like he was in the beginning, remember to use the phrase. That's the best way to describe the feeling.
7. I'm a little bit psychic. I know that sounds weird, because I don't really believe in psychic powers. But sometimes I just get feelings, and my thoughts come true. Talk about mind power. Yikes. So don't ever lie to me. Because I will know. I know what you are thinking right now, too.
That's all I can think of for now. Strange. I know I'll think of much more, much better stuff to write later. I probably sound weird now, but I don't care. Just my stream of conscious
