I just got back from da movies, we went to see Wolf Crick, as I'll refer to it....yo that shit was SO scary. Man I'm a huge wuss but yo son, I'm tellin ya my heart was racing so bad throughout the end of the movie. It was just me Sam and MB in the theatre at first, and then Sam hadda open her big mouth "you know what would make this movie even more scary? A creepy old guy." *cue entrance of creepy old guy* And of course who's sitting closest to him. And of course the fucker had to have fucking candy so every little rustle I heard I was freakin out. Anywho, like Hostel, I would not refer this movie to anyone. It was kinda low budget, only cool thing was it was in Australia so everyone had accents. It was nothing like I thought it was gonna be, also like Hostel. The beginning was slow, ALSO like Hostel. Anyway it was pretty twisted and gross toward the end. The old guy in the movie was a sick fucker. Only a couple ya'll will understand this, but everytime I see a movie about like, country/back woods type people I always think of Willow Brook Road, right by mah house. Cause it's all like old deserted farms and junk. Needless to say I was singing along to Nelly as loud as I could on the trip home. Oh yeah, so Hostel, what a fargin disappointment that was. It was supposed to be this wicked psychological thriller/sick ass make you puke kinda movie, and it was nothing like that. First of all the first like hour was all boobs. I swear there were like 500 boob shots. I really don't get the point of that, I mean, not just cause I'm a girl, I really just think it's so stupid. It had nothing to do with anything except the fact that these Americans who were traveling around wanted to get laid. Big deal, you could have just stated it. It was also supposed to be really gross. It was pretty gross but nowhere near as gruesom as it was made out to be. I did cry a little when the one guy got killed because it was so sad :( but other than that....nothin. I think they should have told you more about the characters so that when they were getting fingers cut off, or a drill rammed into their thigh, you felt a little more sympathetic about it, not just "oh damn, that's kinda sick, sucks to be him" The ending really pissed me off too. I dunno, that movie got a big thumbs down from me. Plus I thought Quentin Tarentino had a major hand in it, come to find out he really had nothing to do with it. wtf? I guess I should attempt to go to sleep now lol
