First week of school
We're happy to report that E is slowly but surely settling into school, although we are still working on the sleep schedules to accommodate the session time (3 to 5pm).
Since Day 2, he's been going unaccompanied, and he's crying less as each day goes by, although there is still lot of protestations about going to school.
I'm extremely eager for him to settle down in school because I'll have peace of mind while he's gone, as well as literally some peace in the house; but also because I think this whole school episode has made him quite insecure and has been acting up because of that. As much as I'm always super proud of him having completed a day at school, at other times when he gets whiney or naughty, it really tests my patience. And with 2 to look after there isn't much patience to begin with.
I'm so so hoping this phase will pass soon!!
On one of the days at school he made a crown. I was most impressed!
