I can't believe I'm still awake right now, but I'm sure it won't last long.
This week was much of the same...too much homework, stressful classes, NorthWind nights, etc. I turned in my first ever magazine article on Tuesday...a piece on the Winter skies for the 2nd ever edition of God's Country Outdoor Magazine, and Kristy asked me to write another one for her January edition. And, being stupid, I said okay. I was sooo tempted not to, but I really need to take advantage of the time I have left before graduation to try to get established. Argh.
This weekend has probably included a little too much social time, but I was well-behaved, and I soooo needed it. Sam and Anthony offered me one of their extra tickets to MythBusters on Friday night, so I went to that. Then today I went shopping at Michael's and out to lunch with Sam and Livvy and Monica. Kim and I had made plans to see Willy Wonka on campus at 9 tonight (Sat. nite, whatever), but things got mixed up and I ended up seeing it with Sam instead, and then Sam and Kim and I went to the Pancake House (twice in one day, yeehah!). Then when Sam drove me back to school to get my truck we ended up having this hours long vent session, and I got home roughly a half hour ago. It was good though; we both got a chance to release some built-up pressure, and some things got brought up and worked out that had kinda been hiding beneath the surface for quite a while. Mind you, we harbored no bad feelings against one another, which is how that sounded (looked?), but that's the best way I can explain the issues.
So I have gotten very little done this weekend work-wise, but the apt. is relatively clean, and I have done some contacting of people, which is a start. But now I need to bust my hump to get shit done before Monday morning. So no chance of a relaxing Sunday for me, but that's typical. And on that note, I really should get to bed so I can be semi-concious for Sunday's homework marathon.
