Here are little ficcy things about Molly and Elle, as per trillianastra 's and soda_and_capes 's respective requests! They both contain spoilers for 3x01/02 so if you have not seen, stay awaaaay! (Also I am still taking requests!) The Elle one is longer because guys, Elle pwns so hard.

Molly

She can find anyone in the world. Anyone at all, just by thinking about them. Sometimes Molly thinks about movie stars or her favourite singers, curious about what their lives are like. They're hectic, constantly moving from one place to another, barely staying still more than a minute. It doesn't seem like much fun.

And sometimes Molly thinks of the people she met at Kirby Plaza. When she saw that two of them were gone, she cried and cried, worse than all the other times. Because Molly sees people disappear all the time, and cries a little bit for each one.

Once, after it was all over, she thought about the Nightmare Man. Just once, and just for a second, just to make sure that he wouldn't come back for her. She feels a little safer now. She can be in the dark without being scared, and this is a good thing.

Molly wishes she could tell Mohinder about this good thing, but she can't; he's far too busy at his apartment, working. Working to find a cure. She isn't sure that she wants a cure, but Mohinder knows about the powers, a lot more than Molly does, even though he doesn't have one of his own. And she trusts him.

She trusts Matt, too. But Matt isn't here anymore. Molly looks for him and finds him in Africa, and she frowns because that isn't right. Why would he go to Africa without even saying goodbye? And how did he get there so fast? And why would he be in the middle of the desert? There are a lot of questions like this running through Molly's mind as she stares down at her atlas in confusion.

But there's nothing she can do. She's just a little girl who knows where people are. She doesn't get to know why they're there, or how they came to be there. She doesn't get to go to them by wishing, or move them to somewhere else. She just gets to find them.

Elle

Her daddy is dead and she's just been fired. This is the worst day of Elle's life.

She didn't cry for her daddy because Elle never cries about real things, she only cries in movies when she watches them with other people, or pretends to cry when she can't get her way. Real things don't matter. People aren't worth crying over because they're only toys. Life is a puppet show, and it doesn't matter if puppets break because there are always more puppets to replace them.

Elle's daddy was just a puppet. Angela Petrelli is just a puppet, too, and Elle wants very much to break her. But that would be reckless. Most of the things Elle does are reckless but this thing is maybe the only one reckless enough to get her killed, so she'll have to find someone to hide behind, someone who won't go down easily. Someone who won't betray her would also be nice. Elle has a certain aversion to dying.

She doesn't know where to find Peter Petrelli anymore, and besides, Peter wouldn't turn on his own mother. Elle can understand that -- she was always loyal to her daddy. Except when Bennet told her those things, those bad things that Elle tried not to hear that made her doubt...

Adam would be her next choice. She's always had the ability to influence him, at least a little. Only for the small things. He was an interesting toy, he never broke. Elle doesn't know where he is, either, but she'd quite like to find out. He would be more than happy to turn on Angela Petrelli. Although he doesn't exactly fit in well with the whole someone-who-won't-betray-her thing.

Molly Walker can find people. Maybe she ought to pay a visit to the little girl. Elle likes little girls. She was one herself, and a lot of the time she still feels like one inside. Her head has that strange fuzz where she doesn't worry whether what she's doing is right or wrong, because the important thing is it's what Elle wants to do.

She goes to see Molly. Sweet little Molly who looks at Elle with wide, scared eyes and says I've seen you and squeals in fear at the sight of Elle's lightning. It doesn't take long for Molly to find Adam, and Elle smiles at her and says thank you. And just as she is leaving, Elle gives Molly a little shock. Just a tiny one, because she likes that squeal of fear. It makes her feel strong. Elle never felt strong around her daddy, and she realises she's wasted a lot of time with that because she likes this feeling, oh yes.

Adam is underground, which Elle considers kind of a stupid place to be. She frightens a man at the cemetery into digging him up, and as soon as Adam is out of the coffin he starts yelling about Hiro Nakamura. Elle rolls her eyes and sends two bolts flying, one at Adam to shut him up for a second and one at the cemetery man to shut him up for good.

When Adam heals and comes to, he's a bit calmer. Still whiny but at least not yelling, and Elle gives him her puppy dog eyes and twirls a strand of her pretty blonde hair and tells him that she wants to kill Angela Petrelli. And Adam smiles.

Elle missed this toy. She thinks it's probably her favourite. And she also thinks that this day might not be so bad after all.
