During my Essay Hell, I actually wrote some fan fiction. For the first time in about three years. Bizarre. Okay, it's only short and it's Law & Order: UK but it was so wonderful to find characters just talking in my head and the ficlet appearing fully formed.

This was really lovely; I think Ronnie and Natalie are both really interesting, and you've examined some of the things I think would bring them together in friendship here. And I love them being almost "parents" to Matt!

Thank you very much! They are really interesting, nicely rounded characters. You can tell they get on really well and respect each other a lot. In the show, I always loved those moments when Natalie snarks at Matt and Ronnie grins at her. So cute.
