I suppose most people are happy that curse is over. It's strange, though, that it lasted for two days. The City just wanted to show what could've been! But I'm glad things are the way they are. Maybe it was supposed to make us grateful

Nope! Though, the last time we told ghost stories, an actual spirit showed up! Doumeki-kun had to shoot it with an arrow before it took Watanuki-kun away!

It was scary, but everyone was alright.

Really? Where did Watanuki take it?

Oh no, the spirit tried to take him away! Doumeki-kun saved him, though, before anything bad happened.

Why did it want Watanuki?

Lots of spirits are drawn to Watanuki-kun. I'm exactly sure why, but he sees them a lot!

Well, I've seen a lot of ghosts. My friend Fly knows all the best stories.

That's amazing! What are the ghosts like, in your world?

Fly...?

They lived at the bottom of a long well. They were alone there for many years, hungry and sick and afraid, until Fly went and found them.

What did he do with them?

He led them a long way into his kingdom where they could be real, and they were happy there with him.

Most of them, anyway. I guess it's not a very scary ghost story.

Ghost stories don't always have to be scary. I think that's a very nice story. Is your friend Fly always so nice?

He's always been kind to me.

I think you should meet him, Himawari. I bet you would like him.
