my granddad died yesterday. on thanksgiving. that's right.
he was 90 and he was at home and it was probably for the best has his health had been declining.
still. there are fewer and fewer people running around who share my DNA and that is sad. i am tired of being sad now.
looks like i'll be sending next weekend in florida. hopefully no one will give me a book called grandfatherless granddaughters. because i could not be responsible for my actions if that happened.
papa fee and i are having a nice holiday, regardless. dinner at maggie & kyle's was great. today we went to fairway and ikea to buy some shelves. tomorrow we're seeing south pacific. my fridge is filled with leftover cranberry sauce. there are always things to be thankful for.
