"Impression without expression leads to depression"

So says my pastor, and I agree with him. Not only is such a statement applicable to believers actively serving in the body of Christ, it is also true about life in general. A friend of mine remarked the other night on how she loved dancing, while spinning around again and again, so gracefully. When I commented that it seemed like a good form of expression, she agreed, and said, "You work out all kinds of things dancing." I envy her.
(Applicable is the word of the night. What is the proper pronunciation?)

"Yes, and in that month where Prosperpine comes back, and Ceres' dead heart rekindles, when all the woods are a tender smoky blur, and birds no bigger than a budding leaf dart through the singing trees...and there is blasting thunder in the night, and the soaking millionfooted rain...."

My only reason for posting that quote from Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe was that last phrase "the soaking millionfooted rain". Can't you feel and hear the rain when you read that phrase? Maybe not, but I can, and I like it.

Lately I have been restless and grumpy, but am continually shown grace by the one who bears the brunt of my unpleasantness.
