Funny, with all the differences between this place and home, one of the ones that stands out the most is the lack of my usual resources. I keep thinking I should call someone up, get a second look in case I'm missing something ( Read more... )

I'm always willing to be a resource! I know enough about things from my world anyway, should you ever need a cross reference on that.

Nothing better than an actual person from the distant past, hm?

...And I kind of like poking at things and pretending to be scientific. So. Win-win, I think.

It sounds like what you need most is more confidence in your own strength, then. It isn't easy, facing your fear, but it can be done.
