Heard there was a library around here somewhere. Is the reference section any good? I have a few things I need to look up.

You could probably find the folklore in the people here. Not sure on the reference for that in the library.

Well, I could suggest going to Morgana if you're interested in creature folklore. Not sure if her magic would match other worlds since it's different from what the stories stay, but I don't expect creatures would be too much different. Except for the ones who were 'human' and then changed because of our evolutionary course.

Ah, if you do ask her, don't say anything offensive about them. She's related to most of them.

It's not creature lore at the moment. I have a lot of that, and I'm guessing most of it's probably pretty specific to the world the creatures are from. I can't believe I just typed that.

I'm looking for some very specific information relating to demons.

Ah, she does have information on demons. Not a lot since most of that involves forbidden magic.

I heard we had Goddesses here. I'd imagine they'd know demons. I'm sure there are SOME demons here too. Holy men as well.

Hm, three Norse Goddesses, sisters. A Greek one whose pretty new here. I think there's a fifth one, but I don't know what type.

Enough patience and you can catch them in the lie. Though, I suppose sometimes you'd have to hurry with them.

Things are weird in Econtra. My world doesn't even have humans.

That's most helpful if you want to catch them in a lie, rather than figure out the truth. Unless you know how to compel them, demons aren't a good source of information.

They are tricky, but even they have some code they have to follow. At least, that has to be why he never came after me again...

Basically a humanoid duck. Instead of humans in my world, the animals just became bipeds and sentient.

Depends on the demon. The ones I've dealt with didn't have much in the way of a moral code. Unless 'being the epitome of evil' counts.

I don't know how to compel demons.

Not a moral code as a code of rules. I got out because the person they used to get me didn't make the contract officially. At least, that's what Mister Macawber said.

Someone here might be able to teach you. Lots of skills to be learned here.

We're a rare type to be living on other worlds.

I can see that. As long as the demon didn't hold something against you. Or think it might be amusing to hurt you for the hell of it. Sounds like you were pretty lucky.

No offense, but it's not something I'm sure I want to learn if there's any other option. Hell's already got enough hooks into me without my knocking on their door.
