taking a quick breather
i'm taking a quick break for an early dinner because i intend to return downtown for the 7:30 jack the ripper tour per shaunica's recommendation, plus the guy leading the tour is supposed to be the be all end all expert in that part of town/jack the ripper. sounds like a bit of morbid fun, my favorite kind! today went to st. martin-in-the-field and saw the lunch concert and did some brass rubbings. spent the earlier part of the day in trafalgar square drowning in the sunshine (who knew it could be sunny in london!!) deciding exactly what i was going to need to do today/tomorrow to ensure i get everything in. that means tomorrow:

and then dinner and whatnot at the gay hussar... the moment mere and i have been waiting for! spencer things we're five and want to go because we think the name sounds funny (yes, it does) but i want potato pancakes and some paprika!!! i haven't had "real" hungarian food since grandma priska passed away. grandma drake still makes a tasty stuffed cabbage leaves, but not in years.
