Some friends of mine have read/heard my crazy Objectivist spiel about "It's a Wonderful Life," but in truth, I love that movie, and its message of community and ripple effects and sacrifice for the greater good.
There is a little message being spread about about community banks vs. those "too big to fail", using footage from IAWL ... because the movie is in the public domain! Yay! It also makes a good point about really putting your money where your mouth is. Hopefully, if/when my financial profile stabilizes (i.e. I make some real money), I'll be able to move my money, either to a community bank or a CU/FCU. A nice little job by "Why We Fight" filmmaker Eugene Jarecki.

P.S. -> for those who may think I'm just jumping on a meme, I've actually wanted to join a credit union for years now, but had a couple of obstacles that should be gone now. I just need to find a good bank/CU and have a nice-sized check in hand ...
