MHA -1, Monday Evening
John was still feeling pretty glad the weekend was over when he arrived back at his apartment in the early evening. He hadn't taken the time to clean up his apartment after his guests had fled to the comfort of their own beds, so he set to work putting away bedding and getting things back to normal.
While he worked, he couldn't help but think Rodney might have a point about a boring time at the SGC at least holding more of a future than teaching a fake class at a high school for freaks, never mind that John had been one of the freaks back in his day. John did not, however, agree with Rodney about why John was staying. Things were a lot more complicated for John than Rodney realized.
But for some reason John couldn't stop thinking about it. Now to take it out on the mess in his kitchen.
