Tonight was a very special moment for me. I entered into my 7th "cycle" of viewing America's Next Top Model. I guess perhaps it may be because I have in fact followed every season of this show that while watching the episode tonight, I wondered if the casting agents simply took a stroll down the ol' inter-web highway over to everyone's favorite/creepy/time passing site "myheritage.com" and uploaded pictures of past cast members to choose the 13 girls who would inevitably "continue on to becoming America's Next Top Model." Call me crazy or obsessed, but I think the proof is in the 8x10 glossy.
Contestant #1: Megan
In all fairness, Megan was described as a 'softer' Kim on tonights episode, but in my oppinion she's a dead ringer for a Kim/Mollie Sue love child.
Contestant 2:Brooke
If Brooke passes out at Panel this cycle, lets just say I wouldn't be surprised...perhaps her predicessor, and look alike, Rebecca (below) can give her a few tips on how to deal with that.
Contestant 3: Poor Christian who got the boot on the first episode....
She'll probably have better luck than her look alike, Ebony, who also got cut in episode 1 of her cycle.
Every cycle, there is the "one who looks like a man", the one who Miss Jay always rags on for being a drag queen...just to take the opportunity to do his "manly" voice. Well this season it's Jaeda
who sorry to say bares a strong resemblance to Coryn from cycle 5 who also had to overcome her manly features.
Lastly, and I only say lastly because I've grown tired of posting pictures, not becuase this is where the comparison ends...there is Caridee
Or perhaps it's just Shannon from the very first cycle coming back to try her luck again...
I guess the point of all this rambling is that the show has obviously run it's course. I'm still going to watch it of course. I love a good walk off.
In hindsight, I spent way too much time on this. But we all have hobbies.
goodnight.
