Illinois here in Memphis, who would have thought???
Snow is beautiful and I forgot how wonderful the nights are after a big snow; dark skies and glowing snow lined trees and houses. The dampening effect of snow on sounds. Mind you, I am glad it will melt sooner than it would in Illinois so I do not have to shovel my drive or sidewalk, but it has been a nice reminder of winter beauty.
My Charlie Brown tree in the front yard held up well to the white beauty that tried to weigh it down! I am glad that my friend and I have not landscaped the backyard or even put in the Japanese Maple that I want. Or that my other friend and I have not done the front yard with the tulips.
