It's rare that I have such a great night and even more rare that I am THIS excited about so many things in the same time!!! :D
So here we go.
My friends and I have a little club for those who love the music that we love. Currently in this club is: Megan (lacunaclaudia), Claudia (xtaintedsongx), Rita (Rita1516) and Natalie (foxyfreds), which means that our music taste ROCKS. It doesnt mean that yours is bad, but we just think that these bands RULE the world!!! *sigh*
Now sit back and enjoy these musical geniuses.
1. Coldplay:
Not many words are needed, really. Chris Martin is a musical genius who writes amazing and deep lyrics that touches my very soul and his apparent emotion when he sings can make me cry. Not only me, but the HUGE crowds in their concerts as well. The LOUD singing from their fans is amazing and it shows how much these songs mean to these people.
Yellow:
Fix You:
Personally I think that this song is one of the BEST and most fantastic songs in this decade. Absolutely amazing and magical.
Just listen to the crowd sing their hearts out. It is really amazing.
The Scientist:
This song also is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard. It's very touching and it can make cry in no time - and I am not the crying type of girl. This performance - great :)
And now to another great band:
2. One Republic...
The Frontman and lead singer, Ryan Tedder, is a true songwriting-genius and I say that with ALL the conviction in me. This guy just knows how to write beautiful, deep and meaningful lyrics without making them cheesy and sappy. I LOVE HIM!!! And his band-mates are just as awesome musically. It's fantastic to see how huge their fanbase is now and that teenagers actually listen to their music and consider it as their favorite music in stead of all the dance-crap everyone calls "amazing" nowadays.
I LOVE dance-music, but I dont call it amazing or beautiful. Anyway, here is some of my favorite songs from One Republic:
