This SUCKS!

So, my nice lady...the one from Dell. She told me to call her back when the diagnostic was finished or if I ran into any problems.

Yeah, well.

The video screen started flipping out. I thought the test had crashed because it was really wonky. So, I tried calling back. While I was calling, I noticed that the wonkiness wasn't so random and that it might be testing the different color stuff of the video. After a few minutes it returned to the diagnostics screen.

However.

The "direct line" that she gave me to reach her...you know, leave my message with all of the info and she'd call me back...ISN'T WORKING AS AN ANSWERING MACHINE LIKE SHE SAID IT WOULD.

nope.

instead it was nice enough to tell me that the call centers are closed.

I can email them, though, yessiree-bob.

Have I mentioned lately how much I despise Dell's technical support?

Now, I am happy to give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't screw me on purpose, but this is really typical.

Enough to make me swear that I will ROT IN HELL before I buy another Dell and enough to make me swear that I'll never buy a computer with Windows on it again.
