The Friday Five...a little late
1) What's the weather like where you are right now?
For the first time in weeks, I was able to turn my AC off. I'll need to shut the windows and turn the living room one on in an hour or two but it's been so nice
2) Has your weather been seasonally appropriate lately, or has it been unusual?
It's been hot for way too long. We are also in a mild drought and being told to conserve water.
3) Have you noticed any trends in the weather near you over the past few years?
Each year seems to beat the one before for average high temperatures
4) Are you worried about climate change?
Very much so. It isn't just a matter of being uncomfortable in the heat. Extremes in weather are wreaking all sorts of havoc and it's also affecting our global food supply.
5) Are you doing anything to combat climate change?
I'm trying not to overuse plastic, eating mostly vegan, and promoting and assisting at work with researchers that do climate change research
