In the meantime, here are some INTERESTING TIDBITS OF THE MORNING, gleaned from email/ya librarian blogs/aimless netsurfing.
RYAN GOSLING FILMING 'LARS AND THE REAL GIRL'
Context: "The story is about a lonely, delusional young man who buys a life-size sex doll on the Internet and falls in love with her, telling people it's his girlfriend. His brother and sister-in-law step in to help him with his delusion."
Stuff + Cats = Awesome. Pictures of cats being VICTIMIZED by their owners, who put STUFF of them while they SLEEP. A teen Librarian is considering having a 'stuff on my pet' photo contest for her library. I AM TOTALLY STEALING THAT IDEA.
Knitta - a gang of knitting graffiti artists. Hmm. Methinks the cabal needs to invent some similar mayhem and create a website for it.
One page 'zine pattern - Perhaps an excellent new formula for creating fliers and booklists? Or just another way to play with an xacto knife?
Librarian Recruiting Video from 1947 ??? I have not yet watched this, as the work computers do not have the correct plug-in. TEARS!!! PROMISES HILARITY.
