So Tan and Fish 2 was everything I expected and more! Its so nice to go up north and not worry about anything! We started our weekend trek on Saturday morning, of course Kelcie got shotgun cuz she "gets car sick" (mhmm). It took us about three hours to get there and as much as the car ride was totally off the hook,it was also a bit intense... we couldnt decide what type of music to play, we'd pass cars on the left when other cars were coming directly at us, we almost hit a deer...you know, the usual. It was quite entertaining though!
We finally arrived and it was beautiful! We got out the towels and took in some rays while the boys were out 'fishin' or 'fixin tha traaail' lmao.. gotta love them. Saturday night kelcie and I started the fire all by ourselves! We felt like proud parents. We ate some marshmallows and did fireworks but then it started to rain.. so we went in, played cards, took a few drinks and danced the night away " 1-2-3 Train with me, uhoh, uh uh uhoh, woot woot!" The boys drank all our peach juice so we put a hold on Mr.Vodka and opened up Mrs.Amaretto. OH MAN, Amaretto and Coke tastes like Vanilla Coke! SOOOOO GOOD, props to Kelcie on that one!I dont even remember what time we went to bed, but that information is not too important.
On Sunday we decided to do a run into town. We hit the LCBO for some more drinkers and the local IGA for my bug spray and a newspaper to find out the events of World Cup Soccer. We got back to the cottage and did some canoeing, paddleboating and windsurfing minus the sail part. We also went to go help the boys 'fix tha traaail' lmao.. The boys this time were in charge of starting the fire but when they couldnt get it going, an x-men came outta nowhere and blew some air.. and BANG! there was fire... just kidding.. but no seriously, Leesas family friend Morgan came over to chillax.. or maybe do a bit more.. and started the fire for us with his fireman hot air! We finally did the marshmallows dipped in Baileys thing (SOOO effing good, everyone must try it).I think we ended up just chillin by the fire until 1 or 2 in the morning, it was GREAT!
Monday morning we got up late and just lazied around and left about noon. All of the previous car ride events pretty much occured again on the way home... except kelcie fell asleep for like an hour, but thats really it.
Thank you to my ladies for (seriously, no joke) one of the best weekends ever!
