I saw the new episode.
Overall, I liked it, but I think it'll take another episode or two for me to really get an impression. I thought Eleven (and Matt Smith's portrayal) was pretty good. I like Amy all right, too, but she didn't grab me as fast as Donna did.
I liked the story. I was able to see where it was going, but it was fun, so I didn't really care.
I was a little confused about the room. Was it just an actual room in the house that had been concealed all those years by the alien? If so, why didn't Amy or her aunt notice the room's existence prior to the alien coming through? Did the perception filter just make them forget about the room, period?
