I've been nudged x)
It's hot. So, we drove down to the beach today. It was about 30 degrees cooler on the main street than it is here, so of course it was crowded. Welcome, Summer.
Yesterday, I went to a friend's baby shower. I saw something like 10 people who I haven't seen in years and years and years. It was really nice to reminisce & talk about what everyone's been up to. OH, and I won some nice-smelling lotions because, apparently, I know more nursery rhymes than anyone else in my circle of friends. Yay, me!
The last few weeks, I’ve just been working. The company I’m temping at is moving next week, so I’ll be getting a new assignment. I’ll be sorry when this one’s finished, because I actually liked the people who I was working with. Too bad I don’t want to move to North Carolina, or they might take me with them. Anyway, I’m trying to enjoy it while it lasts and I’m hoping the next job might be as enjoyable.
And, I’m praying about going to Thailand to teach. For those who don’t know, I went to Thailand about three years ago (it was just before I joined the Snitch, actually). I’d be staying at the same hostel that we stayed at when we came before, and working with the same people. It’s a definite possibility, however... There are some details that would have to be worked out first, so it’s still up in the air. I’ll totally chat in more detail about it if & when I have more details, myself. ^_^
