ELECTION DAY IS HERE!!
I'm so excited. I'm so excited...*wails* I'm so scared!
Seriously you guys I'm freaking out. I need Obama to win this election. My entire emotional state is riding on it. I've been following this election obsessively and I will be absolutely wrecked if that man doesn't win.
I only slept for 2 hours last night because I was on ONTD, ONTD_P, and fivethirtyeight.com all night. Even looking at all the numbers, I'm still afraid Obama could still lose *AAAAGHAHOEIJAIJE* I gotta calm the fuck down.
Last night I put my nervous energy to good use by decorating my car:
Even though I basically did this in the dark, I think it came out pretty well =D
On a final note, this is what I put down as my top 5 reasons for voting for Obama (copypasta from ontd_political):
1. He has vision, a distinct plan for the direction our country needs to take.
2. His ability to consult people more knowledgeable and experienced than him, and use that body of knowledge to formulate the best solution to the problem at hand (this should be standard operating procedure for any president, but the Republicans have made it a novel trait)
3. He actually cares what happens to the middle-class, as opposed to the ruling class.
4. He's passionate about green energy. It's my belief that the manufacture of alternative energy sources needs to be the focus of our new economy. Not only will it create millions of jobs for manual laborers, engineers, and scientists, but it can also be a huge home-grown, domestic industry to replace the service and manufacturing jobs being outsourced overseas. Not to mention the huge environmental impact.
5. His ability to actually work across the aisle instead of just talking about it. With so many high-ranking Republicans putting their support behind him, it makes me optimistic about his ability to actually bring Washington together on certain key issues, including health care reform, education reform and economic issues.
6. Bonus reason: Srsly, just look at that fucking candidate. He's going to change the fuck outta shit.
His fonts got serifs, goddamn.
And this goes without saying, but
