Bah-humbug....random info
-I'm pretty sure everyhwere got hit by that big winter storm. This is the coldest it's been in the Dallas area since fall started. It was 27 degrees by midday, plus it rained last night. My car was actually frozen shut. There was ice literally sealing all the cracks and crevices in my car doors, inluding the door handles. I had to force my door handles open with numb fingers. That was fun.
It took me close to 45 minutes to defrost it. And in the mean-time, the water I had already used was turning into ice on the asphalt. I nearly broke my neck a couple of times as I trekked by to my apartment for more warm water.
-I was thisclose to getting an apartment at my old complex and moving out of this place. But the girl who's lease I was taking over decided NOT leave at the last minute. I really wanted to be out of here before next semester. I'd even posted flyers on-campus looking for someone to take over my lease, as well as posting online, too. *Sigh* It looks like I'll have to stay put. Possibly for my entire lease term, because people usually only move out at this time of year. I can't imagine when they'll have another opening =*[
-I'm thinking of re-arranging my room, but I'm too lazy to do it. I've been telling myself for 3 days that I'm gonna do it. Maybe I'll do it Saturday.
-As a consequence of not having a life, I tend to get a little stir-crazy sitting in my room every day for weeks on end. I really want to go see a movie. Going to the movies is one of the few things that you can do by yourself and still be satisfied....outside the house I mean. Unfortunately, everything in the theatres that I haven't seen already is shit. Maybe I can see Happy Feet. OR, I can slowly peel the toenails from my feet and paint the toe-skin with vinegar. Both sound just as entertaining.
