Okay, I haven't updated in 2039842038423 years, but I was surfing online for examples of luxury homes (don't ask), and I found THIS 60 million dollar, monstrosity on the luxury homes website and I just HAD to post about.
I am an architectural NUT. I adore shows about home building. No, not home design--although I love those, too--I'm talking PBS's 'This Old House' and Bob Villa programs about insulation and heating ducts.
This house is no less than 10 minutes from me, and I've never ever seen it before. I guarantee that if I'd seen this while driving around town, I would have stopped dead in traffic.
I was seriously just looking for the 10 most expensive homes on the site, and this one happened to be #1. Do me a favor and click on one of the pictures. A popup should appear with about 50 different pics of the property. How do you spend $60 mutherfucking dollars on a home, just to SELL it?? The buyer's market for $60 million dollar homes has GOT to be really slim, right?
