today I actually get to do exciting work! Clif has me researching the effect of bisphenol A on drug metabolising enzymes in rat hepatic microsomes and precision-cut rat liver slices at the moment, and its effect on hormone regulation in a bit. it's actually supposed to be toxicology specialist work, but the lady who is supposed to be doing this work is on vacation and Clif wants the stuff *now*. so it's a little bit of taste for what real-live toxicology work is, instead of the small stuff i'm usually stuck doing 'cause i'm the lowly intern. hehe. it's all absolutely facinating to me... 'course, all three of you think i'm the biggest dork around so that's pretty irrelavant, now isn't it?
