Huzzah for Bakersfield Patriotics
So, it seems that the patriotic holidays of 2006 have been celebrated in Bakersfield. And this Veteran's Day is no different. The party isn't until tomorrow, but Kimber and I traveled up the grape vine a day early to hang out with the Dmom family and Kyle. These people are fun. Right now, Ddad is putting together their new entertainment center, complete with plasma TV. Yes, at nearly 1 am. And, we just finished at batch of cookies with edible stickers. We're still hoping to whip outsome jello shots, but we'll see if that actually happens.
So, these holidays are notorious for the drunken debauchery that goes on, and I'm sure that tomorrow will be no different...except for the fact that it's too damn cold to go into the pool (so no shark mounting :( ) and the hot tub still needs to be...ahem...cleaned. It wasn't me!!
