Swing @ KPE
Slept quite early in the morning and I got up even earlier. Not sure if I really sleep anot. Wake up early for the event at KPE. We had MacDonald breakfast before going to KPE.
Took a cab from Kovan to KPE and Gabriel was suppose to led the taxi driver but somehow he go the wrong way and the taxi driver was quite piss off and at one point he just over take them and tell him to follow him. Reach there, we saw a Lambotghini and I did take a picture of the car without me.
The event start at around 8.30am. The emcees is Glenn Ong and Jean Danker from Class 95and also Hong Qing Yun (洪菁云) from Capital 95.8. There is 2 race. 1 is the 5Km race and the 10Km. They started with the 10Km and follow by 5Km.
When people finish their race, we had to approach them and ask them if they want to take photo with the Lambotghini or a complimentary make over photo shoot all this. Quite hard to find people as some will reject so must have paitent. I ws thinking if I get to see someone that I know that would be great and awhile later, I get to see Sharon Tan. I quickly approach her and finally manage to get her to fix an appointment. The days goes by there is Charity Car Rides for the kids and those kid if I not wrong are those needy people or what. So they get to sit in those cars below and went to the tunnel for a ride.
Finish everything at around noon and we wanted to take a picture of us standing beside the Lamborghini but they wanted to tow it away so we did not have the chance to do so. That sad, but we girls did a thing that is going to be quite memorable which is to take pictures on the expressway and I even sit on the floor. This is the only time that we can do that as there no cars.
After which, we took a shuttle bus to Kovan and some of them went off while the rest go for a drink. Xinyi, Anne and me cabbed to Clementi and is on Xinyi *thanks Xin Yi* Reach home, bath and off to bed again.
This events is quite an meaningful one as it has break the Guinness World Records of Largest Latern Parade and I able to be part of the event. I even manage to take a picture on the expressway walk at expressway without getting caught all this. It quite fun after all. After the events, my legs is aching as I was standing most of the time. It is a good experience after all.
