Post “Big Day” Part 2

On 7th Feb was my Big Day. The night before did not sleep till after 3am as I got to pack all my stuff and do a check to make sure that I got all the stuff that I need. I also make 1 packet of jelly so that the next day can make the other packet.
Woke up at around 8am and start to prepare and make some jelly. After which went to collect my nonya kuay. Nonya kuay is to match the theme of the day. My theme is Nonya style. Didn't order Nonya style buffet due to the budget that I got. Therefore just got the kuay.
Was suppose to reach at 2pm to check-in but I reach almost 2.30pm. Faster check-in and went to see the chalet. Unload all the stuff and started decorating the place. I took a rest before started make-up. Took more than an hour to get change,make-up and hair done.
The first few guests to arrive is Doreen,Irene and Mei Fang. They arrive at 5pm and even thought they are the earliest, I do not have much time with them as I was still dolling up.
6pm onward, my friends started to arrive 1 by 1 and at that time I was about to start eating but ended up I only manage to take the food to the plate and not able to put into my mouth as my phone rang and friends telling me that they lost their way or friends arrive all this and make me not able to eat till quite late.
Manage to see my ex 保姆 wife, my junior, Felicia boyfriend, my 1st "on-screen" partner, Derrick girlfriend. The most surprise is that Felicia got a boyfriend and I do not know able it. haha. Hope that this 3 couples able to last forever. =)
The last few to arrive is Lifen and her William and not forgetting my insurance agent, William. The 3 of them arrive same time. I accompany them to eat as I was hungry and the food was already sort of put into plates already so we all just sit at the table and eat. They are the only guests that I able to really sit down and chat with them. =)
Glad to see that most of my friends did attend my Big Day. Sorry that I did not have much time with most of you. Sorry about that. There is some disappointment too as some people that I expect them to attend but then sad to say so, they are unable to attend due to some reason.
Anyway, want to thanks Steven Ong who help me along the way with this event. Providing me with suggestion and get sponsor. Those who help me on the day with my decroation. Lucinda, who took a day off from her work to attend this event. Derrick who stay till 10pm despite the next day still got fliming in the morning, he live quite far. Ying Teng who attend but left early as she got another party to attend. To all who live in the east and attend my Big Day, I know the distance is very far. Thanks to all.
