3 years of memories...
* WARNING: IT IS A SUPER LONG POST*
After 96 weeks of class, 416 school days, I had finally bid goodbye to my school yesterday. It was just like yesterday that I just stepped into school all the memories that I had in school was great. It is hard to say good bye but then, I still got to do it. Miss all the fun that I had there. All this will be in my memories and I got to move on from here.
As I had problem with my laptop audio, I went to the helpdesk to seek for advise and it sort of spoil my last day of school as agreed, RY,Venesa and me is suppose to go take picture around the school but ended up we took NONE. After school, they left without me. *sob*
Yesterday, was quite busy for me running up and down the helpdesk and do my work till I had no time to go for lunch. Oh dear, I had not even had my favourite food for the last time this week. *sob*
What I miss the most about my school? I think I will miss the library,my classroom,food last but not least is my faci and friends. Library is the place where I had spend most of my time there after school hours for project. We had our meeting at different areas of the library each time but more or less is about the same area just that the table is different.
Classroom is the place where I stay in most of my time during school hours. Still remember that in the first year, there is people bring the laptop for their meals all this and not leave it in class. But after sometime, we leave it in class as not all people go for lunch at the same time so there is alway someone there to keep a look out for us.
Food. Come to think of it, I did not buy foods from all the stall. The reason is that I keep going back to my favourite stall for food. =) maybe I should name my favourite food. My favourite food is Mermaid from Taiwan delight. That the best. I love it. After which is ban mian from Kou Fu, Chicken Chop from Cafe 155, vegaterian stall from kou fu, Papaya Milk shake from kou fu, Nasi Lemak from malay stall at food heaven, Chocolate Latte from Kou fu drink stall and they also sell my favourite canned carrot juice at 80 cents ONLY.
What about the class that I love the most? I think that should be my sem2 year 1 year 2 sem 1 classmate. They are a great pal. So who is in that class, let me recall. Well, I have, Oo, Rui Yan, Lucinda, Lifen, June, Katherine, Xiao Yuan, Jean, Yang Xin, Qi Fang, Ruth, Frances, Joshua, Lewis, Nisa, Shee Ying, Shai, Nurainy, Liyanna , Razi, Denise, Benji. This group of friends is damm crap love to be with them. It is rare to have the whole class turnning up for class together. At most is only 20 people. Nothing more then that. Remember the first day, Jean was early and June arrive late when June enter the class. OMG, She talk like nobody business and talk across the class with Jean while the rest of us still like trying to get use to one another. haha. At first keep mixing up Jean and June as both of them knew each other and quite close type and the name all start with J.
The faci that I like the most? Eh..got quite a few.
Mr Ng Khoon Hong, in his class, is you want to learn he will teach you if not never mind and the way he give grade is like a bit bias. In what way, I shall not say. Quite fun in his class but never see him for quite sometime.
Mr Ong Chin Huat, alway treat us drink and stuff during lessons time and his lesson is short and sweet type. Not stresful in his class, also never see him around too.
Ashwin,remebered him as a chocolate guy as he alway buy chocolates for us EVERY lesson without fail. Miss his class as he taught us alot and he even had extra classes to help us in our programming. Hope that he will do well in his studies too.(think he taking phd, not sure at where too..haha)
Lynn Teo, she is someone who will tell us the objective for the day and give hints. Class is not as draggy as other. Like her class as there is practical lesson and is fun. She will share things with us and rememeber once she told us that her bf proposed to her but there is no proposal and yet she say ok. haha. but now think she got married already and isnow on holiday. Quite sometime since I last saw her.
Cheng Kok Hong aka QQ or Q mor. Gave him the nick due to his hair. He a person that is very careful and not easy been trick. He also quite helpful in some way. Saw him yesterday and as usual his hair is super CURLY.
Wen Yang, he a slacker as what other said about him. Ok la not that bad. Don't know PHP, he will teach you. Alway will give us 6P code to study for UT. He seem to be MIA already as I had not see him for a whole semester already. haha.
Cavvy, overall he quite a nice guy BUT he is a 公事公办 person. When it come to work, make sure you give him the best if not..haha.. Outside of class, he can crap alot too. His class is very stress as he quite demanding or is it us that is slow that make us to use our lunch time to rush out the work for him and yet we could not finish on time and need to extend for 30 mins and you can see a 包公 in class. He does teach alot too but sadly to say, he is my faci and yet he like come in on and off type.haha..
Peter Kenny, first and only ang mo faci that I had. The first lesson, OMG I do not know what the hell he talking but as the time goes by, I can get it or is it that the first few lesson is too diffficult for me? There once in he was not feeling well and he went off from class and the relief faci only come in for presentation.
Rizal, a faci whp alway motivated us by showing motivation videos at the start of the lesson. quite a nice guy and we sort of got him into trouble once but luckily, nothing happen to him. He has a cute baby boy. Met his baby at the class chalet the other time.
Ms Loh Siew Heng, she is a very nice faci and also the first module chair that taught me. Alway like to "throw" her water bottle. Her module is super boring but with her as my faci, I think it change as she make it seem so interesting. Her handphone ringtones is damm cute too as she get her daughter to say "mummy your call" or what so ever. There once she forgotten to switch it to silent mode and it rang. haha.
Ms Woo Kuai Mui, my faci for 32 lessons and I attended 30 of her classes. She is one of the faci that taught me the most. I gave her a nickname which is Ms skip. haha.. As alway she like to skip my slides or other people slides when the last few teams is presenting and it is great as we don't have to listen to the same thing over and over again. She will alway ask alot of questions when other is presenting. She used to be a part-time faci when she first teaches me but then she become a full timer faci and futhermore, she is a module chair. She is my FYP2 evaluator too but during FYP presentation, she did not skip my slide but is Ms Choong. haa. To my surprise, she did not ask any question when we are presenting for FYP.
Lorraine Jow her module is not easy to score and there is lots of calculation but with her as my faci, I felt I quite lucky as she does teach us and given us extra practices. She like to use quote and ask us how much we agree to it.Yesterday, she was trying to show us a video at youtube and she told us is quite lagging when she project out. but she didn't know that she had to load it and we as a class teaches her the "correct" way to use youtube. haha.
Mr Tan Wee Siong is one of the faci that is easy going. At first, he seem to look serious but after which not that serious already. There 2 things that I can't stand him. First when ask him any question, he will come to you and push the screen down so that he can see but the way he do it is so wrong. haha. Next is that he will confuse me. That once I do a calcuation and he say is wrong and after break, some other from my team ask him if her answer is right and he say yes so of course me will go ask my teammate what the answer and I found out that both our answer is right. This does not happen once but a few time. Out of no where, I also don't know why Sharon will be drag into our conversion. There once Oo ask why is there only 1 article no as it is hard for us to do our work and what happen is that he ask Oo to ask the module chair and I even tell him ok, I will ask. He even tell me that module chair is the one that just came in and he answered himself that I know. After which, he came and tell us why is there only 1 article no.haha. I also don't know how he knew that Sharon is our FYP supervisor. The most recent is that when learning Variance percentage. The formula that all say is [(new-old)/old] while I found online is [(old-new)/old] and cause of this we sort of argue again during presentation. I ask him to tell me which is right when he presenting and he told me that it is not included in the presentation so again, Sharon come into the picture. I ask him to ask Sharon and even tell him that she that day no class. haha. Think he go IM her and ask. After my presentation, I go and hunt for the website but could not find it so I go ask Lucinda and Lucinda also agree to me as that what he taught her. So even after class, I ask him what the correct answer and he say both is right. OMG. He did give reason la but then. haha.. The worst is that he ask me to ask Sharon. OMG. He learn it from me lo.Think Sharon very poor thing also kana drag into the picture from no where.
Last but not least is Sharon Tan. I had no idea why I had so much 缘分 with her. haha. Know her since mid of 2007 and from that time till today, she had been appearing in at least 1 of the module. That time she was my supervisor for my PP. Get her help and started to do on my report and present to her and manage to get a pass from her and the other 2 evaluator. After which is my FYP1, whereby my team got to do a project that was proposed by her. So ended up she is my evaluator but that not the end. Finally, she is my FYP2 supervisor. When I saw her as my supervisor I was like, why can't I run away from her. haha..Anyway, can chat with her anything under the sun. During FYP, we discuss on our project and somehow we will tend to talk about school stuff and even tell her how Mr Tan teaches us as she is the moudle chair for that module. haha. Then alway project meeting ended up is like 2hours. But then again, she really did help us alot for this project and let me able to pass my final project.
In total I should have 28 faci plus my mentor. But I only able to comment on 14faci that I think I would remember especially they are my year 3 faci. haha. The rest of the faci is that I had no comment or I had not met up with them before which is my mentor, Kimberly Wee but I did email asking her regarding some stuff last time. I met her a few time but then she does not know who am I.
What else can I say about my 3 years of memories. Oh ya. The place after I go to that will make me felt very helpless. Any idea where it is? It is actually the IT helpless IT Helpdesk. Alway go, used to ask you to reformat. Everytime also ask you to reformat and reformat but yesterday Eric say he suspect that the audio input got problem and never ask me to reformat. haha. Last time got a guy not bad want but think he resign already.
Another thing is that I alway had problem paying my school fees. I applied to pay via GIRO and had opt out from the CPF scheme but then they alway did not update their system and cock up for a year after which is using my edusave to make payment for the final semester but then, they cock up again. haha. That make me more busy by spaming the Office of Registar/Financedue to my school fees issue.
Other that that, I think that all about school. Here comes the conclusion
I had change my views on the school over the years. still remember the first day there. I was an IT idiot cum internet idiot. At that time, I do not really use internet to search for things. I only use it to surf net and play game but after 416 lessons or so, I found my best friends, Google. It had help me alot in my work and I think that google is goanna be my best friend forever. I love it.
In this 96 weeks, I met alot of people and my msn contact actually increase by 113. But there are some who I did not get their msn contact as we are not that close but speak of it, out of this 113 contacts, I did not really chat online with ALL of them. haha..I had met alot of people.
After this 3 years, I felt that I had grown more mature cum responsible. At least I able to attend classes without fail but of course there are times where I skip class but it was towards the end of the semester. I had grown to study harder and get good grade but then again, I think I not able to get any 'A' but at least I still proud of my grades ya.
Last but not least, I finally survived and looking forward to my graduation ceremony in April. haha..I promise on that day, I going to take TONS of PHOTOs ok? =)
