you know, I've just recently read this (don't know why I haven't seen it before), and now I feel it's absolutely OK of you to ask me for anything ^^ And I really appreciate you asking ^^
My full name is Maria, but for some unknown reason I don't like people using it >_> (only business partners call me by it, and also my parents, when they are angry >_<). So when I meet people for the first time I give them my permission to call me any derivatives or diminutives, but not the original one ^__^ Here in Russia most of the time I'm called Masha, but that might sound a bit weird for foreigners, so you can call me Mary or whatever ^___^ You can also invent something on your own if you feel like it ^^ I'll accept it ^^
Sorry for giving such a long comment on such a seemingly simple thing *sigh*, but I thought that would be better than twitching every time a person I consider my friend would call me the name I don't quite like ^^

I'm glad you decided to go with Masha ^___^ Because my friends and family really tend to abuse my permission I talked about above and invent some crazy names like Manya, Marusya, Masyanya and even Marusidze >__< But I'm not comlaining, most of the time I'm dying from laughter with their inventions ^____^

Actually, I can't think of any original name, so that's why I'll probably go with Masha. (Anyway, Masha is cute. No, seriously, I like that name. I might just write it down in case I am looking for a name for a character one of these days.)
(There are so many names I hear and I think "OH! I should write it down! For a character or, who knows, my future kids!" But I never do and I forget them. ¬_¬)

though I doubt that kind of name would be suitable for any of k-pop fics ^__^ but maybe someday, in one of your original works, who knows... ~__~
