I stayed home from work today to nurse my cold.
Here are links to things I found in my online travels today:
1) Last Saturday (6 March), I went to the British Library to see the Evolving English exhibit, which I recommend if you're in the area. At the end, you can leave a recording of your voice in a voice bank for future study. They've already begun analyses on the voices and found that Americanisms are NOT taking over British English.
2) 10 Possible Interpretations of Frankenstein I'm kind of having a Frankenstein obsession right now.
3) Found these really fascinating videos titled Unfinished London (they are pretty specific to unfinished transport, but still fabulous!): Part 1 and Part 2.
Also. I found a Harry/Draco fic today where they meet (and play matchmaker to!!) Bradley and Colin. Just. There is not enough O.O in the world for that.
