Dear Britain...
1) Birthday greetings to your queen. I know Hillary sent them on our behalf a week early, but I thought I'd say it again. Also, it's kind of sneaky to have your real birthday in April and then a big official celebration two months later. I think she's looking to score extra gifts.
2) We don't hate you over this whole BP spill. We ARE really pissed at BP, though. And, yes, it's a shame that the drop in their stock market value is affecting your pension plans. I'm sure the people in the fishing and tourism industry in the Gulf sympathize. This article at DailyKos says it best.
3) Aside to just England: I'm sure you'll kick our ass in the World Cup game today. But I'm still supporting the US!
